Timetable & Pricing

Classes are currently being held in the Wellington Point Foreshore Park every Monday & Wednesday at 9:30am.

Classes $10 per session and can be booked online or paid for in person before the start of class.

I am available for private classes, and also run an onsite corporate yoga program for businesses around the Redlands and Brisbane.

Class Descriptions

My Teachings are based around the ethical principle of Ahimsa, which is the act of non-violence or put more simply, the act of compassion. To ourselves, our planet and those who we share this world with.

We will explore this concept in our physical actions on the mat, so you can take it with you into your daily life.

Yin Yoga

Leave the fast paced world of doing behind and give your body the chance to rest and reset with our Yin Yoga classes.

Unlike Vinyasa or Hatha yoga classes in Yin we don’t move around as much, poses are held for extended periods to help stretch out the connective tissues surrounding the muscles and joints.

These classes are perfect no matter what your ability and full props are provided.

You can also use affirmations within each pose to focus and ground your thoughts throughout the practice and enter a meditative state.

Ahimsa Ground & Flow

Guided by your breath you will move your body with deliberation and awareness into each pose.

Slowly flowing between gentle restorative poses all the time treating yourself with love and compassion.

Yoga Nidra

If you are looking for the ultimate relaxation class Yoga Nidra is what you have been searching for.

After a gentle 15 minute Ahimsa Flow you will settle into Savasana where you will remain till the end of the class while I guide you through a meditative script designed to bring you to a place of deep serenity.

I love my community and often run donation based classes to raise money for charity and bring people together.

I also hold New and Full Moon Yoga Yoga Classes and Women’s Circles to work with the lunar cycle.

A Bit About Me

I started practicing yoga when I was pregnant with my first child 16 years ago. The impact it made on my pregnancy and birth physically was incredible, but it was the mental aspect of the practice that made me fall in love with it.

Yoga isn’t just a series of physical poses, it’s a lifestyle practice that gives you the tools to consciously cultivate your life.

After many years developing my personal practice I decided to pursue my teaching credentials. I wanted to give back to yoga and my community, to share the magic of yoga with those who may not yet have discovered it.

I am a registered 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher with additional 50 hour internationally recognised qualification in teaching Yin Yoga, a variant of yoga that benefits and is accessible all members of the community.

I am also a registered Mindfulness Meditation teacher and offer corporate classes in both Yin & Mindfulness.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing space on the mat together.

Yoga in the Park

We spend the majority of our life removed from the natural environment, hidden away inside our cars, our workspace, our home.

To combat this I decided to hold classes outdoors as much as possible.

Nature has many proven mood elevating properties and most of all I want you to feel good while you are practicing yoga!

Where are Classes Held?

Classes are held at the Wellington Point Foreshore Park East every Monday and Wednesday Morning at 9:30am.

What Happens if it Rains?

If rain is forecasted classes will be cancelled by 9am on the morning of the class. This will be posted on the Facebook Page which you can find here: Living Ahimsa Yoga

What Do I Need to Bring?

Full props are provided but if you have a mat you would like

Although we do practice beneath the shade of a tree I recommend you wear sunscreen!

Sometimes the local bug residents can become overly familiar so insect repellent is optional but if you do decide to use it, please apply before arriving to class so as not to affect the other students.

A picnic blanket is also nice to place under your mat for added padding and to protect your mat from any dew that may still be on the grass.

I offer affordable, specialised classes designed to maximise the time available while giving individual attention to participants.

Indoors or outdoors, a quiet space where everyone can sit in their own space is ideal.

If you don't have room for everyone to roll out a mat, we have designed classes to be taught around the boardroom table.

CANDLELIGHT Yoga & Meditation

Join us by the water Sunday evenings for two hours of absolute serenity & bliss. Breathing in the fresh air all whilst soaking in the beautiful calm and relaxing sounds of the ocean and singing bowls.

With all the changes that have been happening lately, stress has been on an all time high for many people. We wanted to create a space to give our community time to relax and restore their bodies and minds.

We will begin by opening up our bodies with some gentle Restorative Yoga before coming to rest for a guided Yoga Nidra meditation followed by an hour of calm with a Quartz Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Meditation.

No previous yoga experience is necessary, and it's suitable for all ages and levels of flexibility. Full props will be provided to support you in the practice, wear comfortable clothing you can fully relax in and bring layers in case it gets chilly by the water.

It is a great way to come together in a happy and positive environment, meet new people and have the opportunity to find a moment of peace where the benefits will ripple into all aspects of your life.

~ water bottle (keeping hydrated improves focus)
~ a friend! If you know of someone who may benefit from this session as well, please invite them along too!
